Unlike most weekends, where I hang around and do nothing, I actually did something other than school! Friday, my Advanced photography teacher kidnapped me and we went to a photoshoot with an itty bitty 8 day old baby! As cute as he was, he wouldn't go to sleep which took a loooong time for him to conk out and for us to photograph him. His sister, who was equally cute, wouldn't kiss her brother. The whole shoot took about 4-5 hours, and afterwards, Miss Pam, her daughter Abby, and I, all indulged in a frothy drink from McDonalds as a good treat after a shoot. We split back to Jefferson County, dumped the photos onto Miss Pam's computer, and I scadaddled back to my place to watch "Cherry" which I rate a 3/5 star movie featuring Kyle Gallner(who is one of my favorite actors), then fangirled over an episode of Glee, then was knocked unconscious by the fact it was almost 11pm.
Saturday, I decided to see what Kalli was up to, which was to hang out with David and me the whole day. Brendan and Joel were supposed to be there too, but due to lack of rides, they couldn't come. Boohoo. We spent the day playing Apples to Apples, I sorted a whole stack of cards alphabetically because there was nothing really else to do but that. We ventured to the basement to lay on a futon for an hour and talk and make stupid jokes that really shouldn't have been said aloud. After an unhealthy amount of tacos were devoured, we didn't know what else to do, so we curled David's hair, which he didn't like, so we re-straightened it and went to random Halloween Stores. I bought a rainbow bow tie that was on clearance and it's the most amazing thing ever that I've bought in my whole life. Kalli and I tried on sailor costumes like supermegafoxyawesomehot beasts and stood awkwardly in the store when we showed David and Mrs. Keifer. David, failed to be awesome. He didn't try on the mailman costume. Or the anything costume. After Halloween store hunting, we decided to go to the Chesterfield mall and be weird. There, we witnessed someone take a dog doll. It was odd, let's just put it that way. We wandered and goofed off, ran into stores. I finally bought my homecoming dress, and I have yet to get my cosplays for TARDIScon next month. I have no idea what I'm going to be for halloween(LIKE A REAL KID, YO).
So my agenda today is to finish this blog, write 2 papers, finish a book, and watch the card game.
Now I'm just curious...
What was the highlight of your weekend?
Highlight...reese's peanut butter ice cream cake. 'nuff said.

ReplyDeleteNot much happened this past weekend, but my cousin's wedding is on the day before Halloween (Sunday). I plan to show up as The Protomen's version of Dr. Wily, pimpcane and all.
Great photo!
